Opting Out of the Replacement of Fannie Mae Form 1036 with the Fannie Mae Form 1004D/Freddie Mac Form 442

As of April 3, 2018, DocMagic, Inc. will replace the Fannie Mae HomeStyle® Completion Certificate (DocMagic File Name: 1036.MSC) with the Appraisal Update and/or Completion Report (Fannie Mae Form 1004D/Freddie Mac Form 442) (DocMagic File Name: 1004D.MSC) in closing packages for HomeStyle® Renovation mortgage loans.

By opting out of this system default, you are requesting to continue to use the HomeStyle® Completion Certificate (1036.MSC) that Fannie Mae retired. The retirement of this form was announced in the Fannie Mae® Selling Guide Announcement SEL-2018-02 and Servicing Guide Announcement SVC-2018-02.
